Crazy, Busy Weekend

It was a crazy weekend in the Lee household. Eventhough we had a 3 day weekend it didn't seem like one. Our schedule was packed with things we had planned to do.
Friday Night:
Tyler, one of Willie's long time friends, got married at the Grace museum. It was a very nice little wedding. We enjoyed seeing all of Willie's family and seeing a few friends that we don't see often. By the time we got home it was about 10pm and we still have to pack and get ready to head out of town on Saturday.
Saturday:
We got up early Saturday morning and loaded up the car to head to Wichita Falls for the day. We had decided that we should take Haley somewhere before the end of the summer since we had not been out of town since our trip to Disney World after the wedding in May. So we decided to take her to the waterpark in Wichita Falls called Castaway Cove. It is a lot smaller than the parks in the metroplex but it is made mostly for smaller children. Willie's family goes there often and they love it. So we decided to check it out.
I have never driven up to Wichita Falls so I wasn't sure how the drive would be but it ended up being a very plesant drive. I volunteered to drive up there and Willie would drive back. We took Amber & my grandmother with us so we had a full car load. We had a good time at the water park and got a little burnt but well worth the drive. After swimming all day we went and ate at On The Border, one of me & Willie's favorite places to eat. We decided to stay the night in Wichita Falls and head back to Abilene on Sunday.
Sunday:
We got back into Abilene around 12:30pm on Sunday and unloaded the car. Then we got back in the car and headed out to Buffalo Gap for the Chili Fest. Willie always looks forward to walking around and sampling everyone's chili and BBQ. It was quite hot out there but we had a good time.
Monday:
Needless to say we spent much of the day Monday doing laundry, cleaning, & catching up on some much needed rest.
I will put up some pictures of the trip when I get a chance to download them.

It's amazing the longer the weekends are the faster they seem to go by. I wasn't ready for reality today, that's for sure.
